About Hope For The Warriors®

The History of Hope for the Warriors®

Hope For The Warriors® was founded by military wives in 2006 as they witnessed, firsthand, the effects of the war on service members and their families. Hope for the Warriors® remains grounded in family values as the organization expands both the span of programs offered and the number of wounded along their family members, and families of fallen soldiers are assisted.

The leadership of the organization remains in the dedicated hands of military members. Together the board of directors, staff, and volunteers work tirelessly to serve those who have sacrificed so much. The integrity of the organization is paramount; therefore, their representatives are as honorable and noble as their mission and the people they serve.

The mission of Hope For The Warriors® believes that those touched by military service can succeed at home by restoring their sense of self, family and hope. Nationally, Hope For The Warriors® provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources.

Corporate Support

The choice to support Hope For The Warriors® is a choice to support America's heroes and their families. Hope For The Warriors® offers corporate sponsorship opportunies at various levels and they are eager to show how your contribution positively affects the lives of combat wounded service members and their families. As a corporate sponsor, you may be given exclusive access to program outreach and awareness events. Furthermore, your company will be recognized for its commitment to our nation's heroes.

"Some of these people only receive the visits that I provide because they have no one else that visits them, and that makes me proud to be a volunteer."
H. Diggs, 2017

Founded in 1977, the organization currently serves 3,000 people a year in a two-county service area that covers more than 1,700 square miles.
